Luis de Salvador Carrasco

Luis de Salvador is member of the Spanish DPA for 15 years, first like Head of Inspection and later like Director of the Innovation Technology División. Previously he has been working for 16 years in the Ministry of Defense like Head of Radar Laboratory, Head of Aerospace Projects, and Security Analyst.

Regarding his educational background and AI, he is PhD in topics regarding microelectronics and fuzzy logic, Computer Engineer and MBA. He started with the programming of chatbots and genetic algorithms in the late 80’s, he got a grant in a public contest to implement AI-fuzzy logic systems, developed a ML system to autofocus of spaceborne radar systems, worked in the AI-multi agent system of tactical military simulators, rapporteur of the guidelines released by the Spanish DPA “Audit Requirements for Personal Data Processing Activities involving AI” and “GDPR compliance of processing that embed Artificial Intelligence. An introduction”, among other releases, and carried out several post-graduate courses in ML and Data Science.
